  • What is metal decking?

Metal decking consists of corrugated steel sheeting commonly used in commercial and multi-story construction projects. We offer a range of metal decking products, including metal roof decking, composite floor decking, and steel form decking.

  • What is the difference between a roof deck, composite floor deck, and steel form deck?

ROOF DECK: Provides structural support for roofing materials and insulation while carrying the loads required for the roof system.

COMPOSITE FLOOR DECK: Bonds with concrete, allowing the steel deck and concrete to work together as a unified structural floor system.

STEEL FORM DECK: Serves as a permanent form that supports wet concrete during pouring and curing. Unlike a composite floor deck, it does not bond with the concrete to create a composite structural floor system.
